If Tomorrow Starts Without Me

If tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not there to see,

If the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me.

I wish so much you wouldn't cry the way you did today,

While thinking of many things we didn't get to say,

I know how much you love me, as much as I love you,

And each time you think of me I know you'll miss me too,

But when tomorrow starts without me please try to understand,

That an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand,

And said my place was ready in Heaven far above,

And that I'd have to leave behind all those I dearly love,

But as I turned to walk away a tear fell from my eye,

For all my life I'd always thought I didn't want to die,

I had so much to live for, so much left yet to do,

It seemed almost impossible that I was leaving you,

I thought of all the yesterdays, the good ones and the bad,

The thought of all the love we shared and all the fun we had,

If I could relive yesterday just even for awhile,

I'd say goodbye and kiss you and maybe see a smile,

But then I fully realized that this could never be,

For emptiness and memories would take the place of me,

And when I thought of worldly things I might miss come tomorrow,

I thought of you and when I did, my heart was filled with sorrow,

But when I walked through Heavens gates, I felt so much at home,

When God looked down at me from his great golden throne,

He said "This is eternity and all I've promised you

Today your life on earth is past, but here life starts anew",

I promise no tomorrow but today will always last,

And since each day's the same way, there's no longing for the past,

You have been faithful, so trusting, and so true

Though there were times you did some things you knew you shouldn't do,

But you have been forgiven and now at last your free,

So won't you come and take my hand and share your life with me?

So when tomorrow starts without me don't think we're far apart,

For every time you think of me , I'm right here in your heart.

Camping Adventure

One evening nanny got a wild hair and decided to go on a camping adventure. No more than 500 ft from her house we decided to stop and camp there, we had all piled up around the camp fire and started telling some ghost stories. It was spooky with silence, and darkness.

Coming from a distance we heard the crackling of twigs, and leafs being crushed under the feet of a furoshis bear, our eyes grew big and we scattered running in all directions to escape the hungry bear. What an adventured we had that night, through the tossing and turning we tried to sleep with thoughts of bears under our beds.

Finally it was morning and we had never been so grateful to see day light,we finally got up the courage to see what was left of our campground. On the way there our knees were knocking and teeth was chattering. When we got there we found our camp fire had been demolished, the rest of our belongings had been scattered as far as the eyes could see.We were lucky to have gotten away.We knew from that moment that was the last camping trip for us. Sure enough that was our last night adventure with nanny, we never got to do much more with her, we cherish the momory and keep it close to our hearts.

Hendrick Polanco My Deepest Condolences September 13, 2014

My deepest condolences.  May these few words from the Holy Scriptures bring you comfort in your time of grief...

John 11:32-45

32 And so Mary, when she arrived where Jesus was and caught sight of him, fell at his feet, saying to him: “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” 33 Jesus, therefore, when he saw her weeping and the Jews that came with her weeping, groaned in the spirit and became troubled; 34 and he said: “Where have YOU laid him?” They said to him: “Lord, come and see.” 35 Jesus gave way to tears. 36 Therefore the Jews began to say: “See, what affection he used to have for him!” 37 But some of them said: “Was not this [man] that opened the eyes of the blind man able to prevent this one from dying?”

38 Hence Jesus, after groaning again within himself, came to the memorial tomb. It was, in fact, a cave, and a stone was lying against it.39 Jesus said: “TAKE the stone away.” Martha, the sister of the deceased, said to him: “Lord, by now he must smell, for it is four days.”40 Jesus said to her: “Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41 Therefore they took the stone away. Now Jesus raised his eyes heavenward and said: “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 True, I knew that you always hear me; but on account of the crowd standing around I spoke, in order that they might believe that you sent me forth.” 43 And when he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice: “Laz´a·rus, come on out!” 44The [man] that had been dead came out with his feet and hands bound with wrappings, and his countenance was bound about with a cloth. Jesus said to them: “Loose him and let him go.”

45 Therefore many of the Jews that had come to Mary and that beheld what he did put faith in him;
